eBay Listings from Abroad: Does the Item Ship to Your Country?

A guide by Sneeek

The offer you want is often only on another eBay country site, for example eBay.co.uk, eBay.com or eBay.it. Whether the seller ships to your country is not always obvious. Here is how to check.

Why an item is not shipped everywhere

Every seller decides which countries they ship to. Some ship only domestically, others to the EU or worldwide. There are also exceptions for individual items, for example because of size, weight or regulations. A listing can therefore look good in one country and not be available to order in yours.

How to check directly on eBay

  1. Open the listing page of the item.
  2. Look in the shipping and delivery section for where the seller ships to. Usually you can enter your country there and see whether the item reaches you and what shipping costs.
  3. If your country is not on the list or the information is unclear, you can ask the seller a question through eBay. The link is on the listing page.

That works, but it gets tedious with many listings and several country sites. You would have to open each site and each listing one by one.

Faster with Sneeek

Sneeek searches 16 eBay country sites at the same time. You enter your search term once and choose your country. For every result, a green check mark shows that the item ships to your country, a red cross that it doesn’t. If it doesn’t, you can ask the seller directly via eBay whether shipping is possible anyway.

What to consider before you buy

Asking the seller: a short template

Most sellers answer fastest in English. You can copy this text and adapt it:

“Hello, does this item ship to [your country]? If yes, what would the shipping cost and delivery time be? Thank you.”
